Here it is! Our video of our epic trip to London to meet Bedlam author, Nick Spencer, and cover artist Frazer Irving! After a quick spot of being tourists around London town, we headed to Forbidden Planet, where they were signing copies of the new trade paperback of the brilliantly twisted Image series ‘Bedlam’.

Nick Spencer is best known for the fan favourite series ‘Morning Glories’ and currently writes for Marvel’s ‘Secret Avengers’, while Frazer Irving currently works on Marvel’s ‘Uncanny X-Men’ and has worked with many of comics’ biggest names, including Grant Morrison and Brian Michael Bendis.

After the signing, the guys were good enough to give us an interview where we spoke about ‘Bedlam’, working with Independents versus the major comics publishers, plus the future of ‘Morning Glories’ and the amazing fan community that it’s developed.

They were thoroughly nice guys and it was an absolute pleasure to get to talk to them (and geek out a little if we’re honest!). Have a watch of our video for the full interview, plus don’t forget to listen to the next episode of our podcast (Monday the 6th of May) for our recap of the awesome day and our thoughts on ‘Bedlam’.

Plus while you’re all there, a quick plug for Nick Spencer’s contest that he’s running to promote both ‘Morning Glories’ and ‘Bedlam’. From his Tumblr-

“Today sees the release of ‘Image First’ editions of MORNING GLORIES 01 and BEDLAM 01. These are $1, full-color reprints of the double-sized premiere issues of both books. It gives you an easy, inexpensive way to sample the stories and hopefully come back for more via the trades or single issues.

Now, we’ve got a lot of great fans of both these books, many of whom are fantastic evangelists for them. And I already know some people are picking up multiple copies of these to give to their friends. Which is awesome. I wanted to come up with a way to make that worth all the effort.
