Tom, I'm not sure why this is important to me, but please promise me that Scott Lang will stay a ginger and not get a sudden hair color change, especially with Rudd not being one in the movie...

No plans to change his hair color that I know of.
We actually just corrected a few color pages where he was looking a little blond. So, if anything, you were in danger of us going the opposite direction.
